This intensive 3 day course provides an introduction to Thales & nCipher HSMs for administrators. Built around hands-on learning, the class focuses on important installation, administration and data protection knowledge hence building an efficient team capable of managing and troubleshooting Thales Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) from the nCipher product line. It builds the skills needed to begin deploying and managing HSM-secured systems successfully.

The training develops competence with real-world use cases and hands-on exercises. Trainees learn the fundamentals behind today's systems that use cryptography and PKI along with the technical details of installing, configuring, and maintaining Thales HSMs. Throughout the training, newly learned skills are reinforced. Instructors work with students to evaluate knowledge acquisition and the training builds on previously learned subjects.
